One of the booth engineers before Raul — still good for a trivia ruling from off-mic.
Jake was part of the PTCH booth crew before Raul took over — one of the “guys we had to fire” (affectionately) in the one-year retrospective. Like every engineer on this show, he got pulled into the banter: asked to officiate a spur-of-the-moment trademark (“Jake, would you trademark maltracking?”) and to settle trivia disputes from the booth (on the number of toes on a hobbit’s foot, Jake correctly held the line at five — “good job, Jake”).
Not to be confused with Jake Alec, Jason’s strength-coach friend in the Chicago area who programs for an entire school district — a different Jake entirely.
